What is BJJ?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ for short) is a grappling-based martial art that focuses on leverage and technique to gain control over opponents. Often referred to as ‘the gentle art’, BJJ is not based on strength and power so a technically trained individual can excel regardless of the size of their training partner.

Even if you’ve never trained in a martial art before, our gym offers curriculum-based training to help set you up for an enjoyable experience. Learning a new skill, whether you are 5 or 55 is great for both the body and mind. We are committed to providing a safe space for anyone to train, regardless of age, size, gender, skill level or activity level.
